Fee Information and Forms


My Professional Fees

$225 for an initial diagnostic evaluation (which typically lasts 60-75 minutes) and for 75 minute sessions.  $200 for an individual therapy session lasting 55-60 minutes. $185 for an individual therapy session lasting 45 minutes.  


Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance.  I am currently a preferred provider with several health insurance plans (BC/BS PPO plans Carefirst and Federal), Cigna PPO, and Tricare (Standard and Prime).  I am considered an “out of network” provider for other insurance plans.  Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:    

  • What is my co-payment or co-insurance per visit?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met? 
  • Is there a limit on how many sessions per year that my health insurance will cover? 
  • What is the reimbursement rate if I pay out of pocket to see a licensed clinical psychologist who is out of network?  


Cash, check, or electronic payment such as Venmo are preferred but I also will accept credit cards.  All fees or co-payments are due at the time services are rendered.  

If I am not a preferred provider with your plan, I will be happy to provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  If I am a preferred provider with your plan, I will file on your behalf, with your consent, and you will then be responsible only for your co-payment and any deductible.  

Cancellation Policy 

Please note that my office policies require that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you cannot keep a scheduled appointment so that it may be offered to someone else.  If you are unable to provide 24 hours notice you will be required to pay a cancellation fee, unless it is an emergency situation or there is inclement weather (I follow Falls Church city guidelines).
